I draw guidance for my teaching from my own transformative experiences as a college student as well as from the communities of resistance I have been a part of and now study. I understand teaching as a potential act of social change, and seek to enliven my pedagogy with the multiple ways of knowing, being and seeing the world that I have learned from scholars and activists.
